Who is Rey?
Hey there! My name is Rey and I am a 2Spirit transgender activist, storyteller, and self-proclaimed policy analyst. I created Rey and the Archive as a space for me to dive into LGBTQ+ education, policy insights, and cultural commentary from a transmasculine and immigrant lens.
In a world where queer and trans narratives are often distorted or erased, this platform exists to combat misinformation and spark nuanced conversations. My work breaks down complex issues, uplifts marginalized voices, and combines rigorous analysis with lived experience to illuminate the policies and cultural shifts shaping our lives..
With a background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training and LGBTQ+ advocacy, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my writing. Here, you’ll find thought-provoking analysis, unapologetic storytelling, and sharp critiques of the systems that govern us.
